The Amateur Trapshooting Association has teamed up with Cabela’s to launch a major fundraising opportunity for you!. Would you like to raise money for your club/team to make all around improvements, buy better equipment, or perhaps buy targets? Are you looking for funds to put towards recruiting and retention, as well as youth programs. The ATA Benefit Sweepstakes presented by Cabela’s is offering over $10,000 in prizes! First place will take home a Cabela’s prize package valued at $4,500 (see prize list) second, third and fourth place prizes will walk away with brand new guns from Browning and Beretta. Fifth place will win an ATA Lifetime Membership.
Simply order a sweepstakes kit from the ATA to get started, there is no upfront cost with these kits. All you have to do is sell the tickets, which will, in return, help raise funds for your club. You will sell each ticket for $5. Your organization will retain $3.00 of the donation and the remaining $2.00 and ticket stub will be sent to the ATA Sweepstakes Administrator, 601 West National Road, Vandalia, OH 45377. The money collected by the ATA will be used to enhance the overall sport of trapshooting, benefiting our gun clubs and improving our youth initiatives.

Who do I contact to get a sweepstakes kit?

Who can sell tickets?
Gun clubs, AIM Groups, State Associations or individuals.
Are the sweepstakes kits free to order?
Yes, Mindy will send you up to 400 tickets at a time. There is no upfront cost to order the tickets but you are encouraged to only order as many as you think your organization can sell. If you sell out of your first order of tickets, you can always reorder more.
How much does my team/ club sell the tickets for?
Tickets should be five dollars each. Per ticket sold you will keep three dollars for your organization and send 2 dollars back to the ATA. Therefore if you sold 20 tickets you would keep sixty dollars and send the ATA forty dollars.
What if my organization did not sell all the tickets I ordered?
Any unsold tickets must be returned to the ATA along with any sold tickets and payment for any tickets that were sold.
By which date should my tickets be returned?
Tickets need to be received by the office with payment no later than October 15, 2010. Tickets received after this date will not be entered into the drawing.
How should I send in the tickets? When returning the tickets please include a note that states how many tickets you sold and how many unsold tickets you are returning. Tickets should be returned to:

ATA Benefit Sweepstakes presented by Cabela’s
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. OPEN ONLY TO LEGAL RESIDENTS OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES OR DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Employees, and their immediate families (parent, child, spouse or sibling and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and those living in their same households, whether or not related, of Amateur Trapshooting Association ("Sponsor"), The Event Group ("Administrator"), Cabela’s, and their respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies and website providers/web masters are not eligible to enter or win. By participating, entrants (or, if minors, their parents or legal guardians) agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the judges and/or Sponsor, which are binding and final on matters relating to this promotion. Promotion is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws. A minor should have his/her parent’s or legal guardian’s permission to enter.
TO ENTER: Between May 17, 2010 and October 21, 2010 ("Entry Period"), there are two (2) ways to enter: 1) purchase a ticket for $5 at any participating gun club, AIM group, state association or individuals, while supplies last, and you will be automatically entered into the drawing. Multiple tickets may be purchased. All proceeds will go to benefit the Amateur Trapshooting Association. Or 2) to enter without purchase, hand-print your name, complete address, day and evening telephone numbers (including area code) and date of birth, and if a minor, your parent’s or legal guardian’s signature. on a 3" x 5" card and mail it in an envelope with first class postage affixed to: ATA Benefit Sweepstakes presented by Cabela’s, 601 West National Road, Vandalia, OH 45377. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by October 12, 2010 and received by October 21, 2010. Entries must be handwritten. Entries that have been mechanically reproduced are void. Enter as many times as you wish, but each entry must be mailed separately. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned.
WINNER SELECTION: Potential winners will be selected in a random drawing scheduled to take place on October 22, 2010 from all eligible entries received by independent judging agency. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Potential winners will be notified by mail, phone and/or email and may be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility, a liability release and where lawful a publicity release within seven (7) days of date of issuance. If such documents are not returned within the specified time period, notification is returned as undeliverable, Sponsor or Administrator is unable to contact a potential winner within a reasonable time period or a potential winner is not in compliance with these rules, he/she will be disqualified and an alternate winner selected at Sponsor’s/Administrator’s sole discretion. If any winner is a minor in his/her state of residence, Sponsor reserves the right to award the prize in the name if his/her parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for fulfilling all requirements imposed on winners set forth herein.
