The Amateur Trapshooting Association is pleased to announce National Trapshooting Day 2010!
The designated weekend for NTD 2010 will be October 9th and 10th, and we would like to encourage all clubs to host NTD during this weekend to maintain conformity. However, if you are unable to host NTD during that particular weekend and would like to host it another weekend, please contact me and we will make arrangements.
SUGGESTED FORMAT FOR NATIONAL TRAPSHOOTING DAY
DAY 1 (Saturday)
FIRST SHOTS DAY
The main goals of FIRST SHOTS are to promote the shooting sports and protect second amendment rights through introductory seminars that focus on local and state requirements coupled with hands-on activity and delivered by and at NSSF partner ranges. Please note FIRST SHOTS events can be held year round and you can view www.FIRSTSHOTS.org for more ideas, free videos and publications. If you choose to host FIRST SHOTS at another time during the year, please let me know so the ATA can help publicize your event. To learn more about FIRST SHOTS please refer to the enclosure.
DAY 2 (Sunday)
NATIONAL TRAPSHOOTING DAY
This day is for an ATA registered shoot. Please click here to view/download the 2010 NTD trophy order form. Please fill out the form and you will receive 25 free NTD pins. Recognition of your event will also be on the ATA web site. All forms must be sent back to the ATA as soon as possible to ensure prompt delivery of all items. Please feel free to fax or email the information.
We hope you will strongly consider this worthwhile event. FIRST SHOTS will be a great tool to introduce people to trapshooting and NTD is an ideal opportunity for us to celebrate our lifetime sport. We appreciate your support and dedication to promote our lifetime sport.
In order to track the successes of this event please fill out the Post Event Registration Form online at www.shootata.com/ntd_post_event_form.pdf when your NTD is complete.
The ATA will be awarding ten gift cards to randomly selected NTD participants. These gift cards will enable the winner to spend $50 dollars at Cabela’s.
Trap & Field has also donated six gift cards to be given to randomly selected NTD participants. These gift cards will enable the winner to spend $20 on ATA merchandise from the ATA online store.
Be sure to head out to your local club and participate in National Trapshooting Day for your chance to win one of those $50 Gift Cards to Cabela’s.
