    Will the ATA have more than one shoot at the Complex?

    US Open- May 8-13, 2007
    Grand American- August 6-18, 2007
    SCTP at the Grand- August 6-7, 2007

    Will there be year to year camping at the Complex?
    Yes, but it is limited to the number of spaces left at the Complex.
    More information can be found by containg the IDNR.

    What is the closest airport to the Complex?
    There is a regional airport in Sparta for smaller planes.The closest major airport is Lambert-St.Louis InternationalAirport There is a regional airport in Mascoutah (Mid America-St. Louis) that has flights to Las Vegas and Orlando Florida daily. Approximately 20 minutes from the Complex their website is http://www.flymidamerica.com

    Will golf carts be available?
    Yes, shooters may bring their own carts or may rent them at the Complex. Anyone wishing to bring their own golf cart must comply with the rules and fill out the registration form located on this site http://www.littleegyptgolfcars.com .

    Will scooters be available at WSRC?
    Yes, more information will be available on the ATA web site and in the shoot program.

    Will there be a big board?
    No, all information will be available on TV monitors. Located throughout or located in the Events Building.

    Should shooters worry about obtaining parking passes?
    No, parking passes will not be required.There will be more than 4,000 parking spaces.Participants will even be able to park behind the traps, where they will be shooting.

    Will there be a food vendor?
    Yes, the IDNR will assign a food vendor at the Complex.There will be a restaurant in the Events Center IDNR has been diligently studying the placement of food vendors up and down the line to make sure that all of the beverage vendors do not end up on one end and all of the hot dog vendors do not end up on the other end.

    Are there any stores near the Complex?
    Yes, stores located throughout Sparta and a Super Wal-Mart located on North Market Street

    Will there be a building similar to the CEB?

    The registration area is 7,000 sq. ft. along with a CHC office, Directors office, Tournament Directors office, Trophy office and multiple meeting rooms.

    What events will be available for non-shooters at the Grand?
    The ATA is working with the Southwestern IL Tourism Bureau and local community groups to ensure plenty of extra events for shooters and non-shooters at the Grand. 

    Will lockers be available?
    Yes, more information about locker reservations will be available on the ATA web site and Trap & Field.

    Will there be an area for tents?
    Yes, the designated primitive camping area is just south of the rifle pistol range.

    Will there be shade for the shooters?
    There will be trees along certain parts of the trap line and kiosks with benches.However, the ATA recommends every shooter come prepared to shoot in a typical Midwest summer climate, complete with hot and cold fronts.

    Can you bring your pets to the shoot?
    Yes, pets are welcome at the Complex.

    Will there be plenty of restrooms?
    The IDNR has properly placed restrooms and will meet all health standard codes.

    Will it be handicap accessible?
    Yes, the trap fields and walkways are concrete and accessible for all handicap persons.

    Since it is a state park, will alcoholic beverages be available?
    Yes, alcoholic beverages will be allowed and sold on the Complex premise. However, no shooter is allowed to consume alcoholic beverages before they participate in any ATA event.

    More information about hotel rooms can be found by calling the Southwestern Illinois Tourism Bureau at 1-800-442-1488

    How many vendors will be at the shoot?
    The IDNR currently has more than 80 vendors committed to vending at the Complex.There will be individual buildings for vendors and a main exhibitor mall.

    Will there be a map available of the Complex?
    The ATA is currently working with a professional company to create a map of the site. 

    Will there be gunsmiths at the Complex?
    Gunsmiths will be permitted at the Complex.Please check with your gun company to see if they will be bringing their trained gunsmiths.

    What is the shooting background at the Complex?
    The background is a country background with farm land, some trees and a very scarce view of any road.
