The momentum with AIM, the Official Youth Program of the ATA, is accelerating across the USA and Canada – watch Aim4ata.com as more AIM State/Provincial Directors come on board.

Your AIM State/Provincial Director is your local resource for information about AIM. If you would like to get involved to help your Director, feel free to contact him or her or them!   If there is no Director listed for your State or Province yet, please call or e-mail me and I’ll help you with your needs.

We still have a few openings for AIM Directors we are looking to fill.  If you would like to be an AIM Director in a State or Province without one, contact me.

Trap Coach Schools are being scheduled around the country. If weekends are difficult for you, consider the weekday School in San Antonio on April 13-14. More Coach Schools are in the works and will be posted on the AIM web site as well as in the Coach School section of the ATA web site.

Thanks for everyone for your support and enthusiasm of AIM – you are the wind beneath our wings!

Greetings from your AIM team at ATA Headquarters!
Click Here to Download in PDF format

We have some exciting news to share as the momentum with the ATA's inaugural youth program AIM is intensifying at a stellar pace.

We are receiving steady and incredible encouragement from our Industry Partners who want to be an integral part of AIM's mission to introduce and attract young people to ATA trapshooting - and they are demonstrating their commitment with generous AIM SPONSORSHIPS!

Everyday we are responding to urgent inquiries from clubs, associations and individuals from across the USA and Canada who want to jump on the AIM bandwagon!

There has been a fantastic surge in requests for the ATA Coach Schools in both countries and we are scheduling these as quickly as possible!

Bolstered by these early successes, we are taking steps to make AIM even more available to everyone - we want everybody to have a shot at this fantastic opportunity to join the wonderful ATA community and experience the thrill of our sport!

Accordingly, we have significantly reduced the 2008-2009 participant registration fees for AIM!  Effective immediately, these fees are now set at a mere $13 per year for the program, lowered from the previous $25 fee – and 100% of these AIM participation registration fees will still go towards awards and scholarships!  ATA Membership remains a requirement to be a participant in AIM and the annual ATA dues for all AIM participants, pre-sub through collegiate categories, remain at only $12.

In keeping with our goal to make AIM more inclusive for everyone - and to reinforce our belief of the importance of our youth to the Grand American World Trapshoot - we have secured the best dates possible for the first-ever AIM GRAND CHAMPIONSHIPS.

AIM participants will be competing for championship titles on August 8th and 9th at the 2009 Grand American at the WSRC in Sparta, Illinois.  We are thrilled to announce there will be over 415 awards available to be won - with a special awards ceremony honoring the winners on Sunday.

We are also in the process of creating some fantastic, fun special events specifically for AIM GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP competitors, their friends and families.  More news on these happenings soon!

If you have any questions, please give me a call or drop me a line.  In the meantime, I’d like to extend a huge thank-you from all of us for your overwhelming support of our youth and AIM!
